Tarot, Mystics & The Occult: Opening Reception

Tarot Show Flier

Our upcoming show, Tarot, Mystics & The Occult, is going to be absolutely fantastic! Curated by Light Grey Art Lab's very own Lindsay Nohl, Tarot, Mystics and The Occult is a spectacular new exhibition exploring the history and symbolism of the occult revolving around the Tarot.

The opening reception is October 26th from 7-10 PM. The main event is The Light Grey Tarot, an all-new illustrated tarot deck. We've already announced the pre-order previously, but the opening will be the first time you can get your hands on the deck in person.

In addition to a gallery full of large-format prints of The Light Grey Tarot artwork, we'll have a collection of excellent art dedicated to Mystics and The Occult.

You'll definitely want to attend the opening reception, as in addition to food, drink, music and art, there will be local professionals present giving live tarot readings. If you have any weighty decisions, questions or quandaries about life, now's your chance to get some direction! For a small donation the readers will be doing 10 minute, 3-card readings which are a quick but insightful look into your past, present and future.

We'll have sign-ups when you enter, make sure to get yourself on the list ASAP.

And finally, we just want to let you know that the following day, Saturday October 27th, there will be the class Reading With The Light Grey Tarot from 1-2:30 PM at Light Grey Art Lab. We'll be teaching how to read and interpret The Light Grey Tarot, so if you get a deck, you'll want to attend. Watch this blog for more details about this event.

RSVP via the Facebook Event Page, and show up early to make sure you get signed up for a reading!

Remember, the Opening Reception is Friday, October 26th from 7- 10pm! We're located on the corner of Stevens Ave and 26th Street - right across from the Minneapolis College of Art & Design. Street parking is available on Stevens, 26th and 1st Ave.
