It's our Birthday!

Lindsay, Francesca and Light Grey celebrated their birthdays today!

We can hardly believe that it's been TWO WHOLE YEARS since the beginning of Light Grey! in 2012 we opened the doors and we've never looked back! Actually, that's not true at all, we've reminisced about the days of olde many times with each other. Sometimes we just sit here and look at each other and wonder how it was even possible that we were so lucky to have had such an awesome time with all of you guys.

Francesca will tell you, she's not a fan of birthdays, and I get super sentimental and excited each year around birthday time... but this year, both of us were sitting here reminiscing about all of the great times we've had over the last two years together. Both of our birthdays are within a day of Light Grey's birthday, and it's always hard to believe that time goes by so fast!

Of course, when you think about what it means to be older, it comes with all of the fun things like realizing that you're starting (and upholding!) traditions, considering all of the great friendships and collaborations you've been a part of, and taking pride in doing things you never thought you'd be doing.

There are currently FOUR cakes here, and though the doors are closed while we prepare for the next show, we're secretly sitting in here, binging on all the cakes...and all the feels.

We love you guys. Thanks for making the last two years incredible! Here's to the future!
